Day 1: Start your journey with a scenic drive to Kibuye, where you’ll enjoy panoramic views of Rwanda’s hills. Experience a coffee plantation tour and savor lunch, with an optional BBQ of fresh fish. Check in to accomodation, where you’ll relax before embarking on a sunset boat ride and traditional night fishing experience.

Day 2: Begin your day with a sunrise walk along the lake, followed by a boat ride to explore Kivu Islands, including a hike to Napoleon Cap Island. Visit Peace Island for swimming and leisure activities, and enjoy stunning views and encounters with swimming cows.

End the day with relaxation by the crystal-clear waters of Lake Kivu before returning to Kigali.

We’ll pick you up from your place after breakfast and begin our journey to Kibuye.
Along the way, you'll discover why Rwanda is known as the “Land of a Thousand Hills.” Feel free to ask your driver-guide for a stop to capture stunning views or simply enjoy the scenery for a little longer.
Experience a complete coffee tour at a local plantation, learning the journey of coffee from the farm to the cup.

Kivu Islands Boat Ride: Embark on a boat ride to explore the Kivu Islands. The journey begins with a short hike (1.6 km) to Napoleon Cap Island, home to a variety of birds and bats. From the island's summit, take in panoramic views of the lake and the Congo Nile. Visit to Peace Island: Continue to Peace Island for swimming, leisure activities, and a small trek to spot velvet monkeys. Enjoy the beautiful sunset as you take in the serene landscape of Lake Kivu.
(Optional)Go for a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters, soak up the sun on the sandy beaches, or embark on a boat ride to explore the hidden coves and islands. As you immerse yourself in the beauty of Lake Kivu, you’ll feel a sense of serenity and peace like never before.
Swimming Cows: During the boat ride, you may encounter cows swimming between the islands, adding a unique touch to your experience.
Return to Kigali: After a rejuvenating day, we’ll drive you back to Kigali and drop you off at your place or Airport if is scheduled on same day.
