Day 01 :

Arrival in Kigali

Arrive at Kigali International Airport where you’ll be warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Take the afternoon to relax and settle in, soaking in the views of Kigali’s rolling green hills and vibrant streets. Your guide will provide a short briefing about the exciting safari ahead, giving you a glimpse of Rwanda’s wildlife, culture, and landscapes.

Day 02 :

Kigali – Akagera National Park (Mutumba Highlands)

After a dlicious breakfast you will be picked by professional guide at 9am drive east to Akagera National Park, crossing the scenic, lush landscapes of Rwanda’s “Land of a Thousand Hills.” Upon arrival, enjoy a scenic game drive, spotting giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and elephants, with the chance of encountering the Big Five. In the afternoon, venture on a sunset boat ride on Lake Ihema, watching hippos, crocodiles, and birds as the golden light paints the lakeshore. As night draws near, drive to the highest peak, Mutumba, sharing stories around the campfire and preparing for the next morning’s wildlife adventure.

Day 03 :

Sunrise Game Drive & Transfer to Kigali

Wake early for a sunrise game drive, when the park’s animals are most active. Traverse the rolling plains and hills in search of lions, buffalo, and other uncovered wildlife, enjoying the soft morning light over the savannah. After the drive, leave Akagera and headback to accomodation through Rwanda’s lush highlands toward kigali. Arrive in the evening for dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 04 :

Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

After restful night start your early morning drive to Volcanoes National park taking glance of scenic views along the way . Arrive at park headquarters for a briefing before trekking into the misty forests of Volcanoes National Park. Hike through dense greenery following the trails of a mountain gorilla family, and spend an unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. Return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation, reflecting on the awe-inspiring encounter. Overnight in Musanze.

Day 05 :

Lake Kivu (Coffee experience, Boat rides,..)

After breakfast, set off for Lake Kivu in Kibuye. Spend the day exploring Rwanda’s scenic western lakeshore: visit a local coffee farm, enjoy freshly brewed coffee, take a boat ride to islands like Napoleon and Peace, and relax by the lake’s tranquil waters. Enjoy lunch with lake views before returning to Kigali in the evening.

Day 06 :

Kigali City Tour & Departure

Pick up at 9 AM for a full-day Kigali tour. Explore The Kandt House Museum, Juru Park for panoramic views, and enjoy outdoor activities at Fazenda Sengha. Discover nature at Nyandungu Eco-Park, experience local culture with Inema Arts Center and a Nyamirambo walking food tour, and reflect at the Kigali Genocide Memorial. End the day exploring modern Kigali and local markets before drop-off.
